Born and raised in New York City, Todd began his acting pursuit immediately after high school. Determined to have a backup plan, he opted to pursue a degree in music business at New York University. Williams left NYU to focus on his acting career full-time, and after booking several national commercial and voice-over spots, he made his film debut starring opposite Kerry Washington in the critically acclaimed feature "Lift."
